Help Drive the Next Breakthrough for People Living With Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP)
Approximately 93,000 people in the United States live with retinitis pigmentosa (RP). RP is a progressive disorder and is typically diagnosed in children, adolescents, and young adults. Many people with RP are legally blind by the age of 40, with a central visual field of less than 20 degrees in diameter.
Forms of RP and related diseases include Usher syndrome, Leber congenital amaurosis, and Bardet-Biedl syndrome, among others.
Your support makes it possible for us to pursue the groundbreaking research needed and bring us closer to treatments and cures for people living with retinitis pigmentosa.
